Injustice

 Isaiah 61:8 (LEB)

8For I, Yahweh, love justice, hate robbery and injustice, and I will faithfully give their reward, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

God is a God of justice and anyone who violates justice will give an account to him. God has set his standards in the Scriptures, and he has placed moral laws in man to guide decisions and teach how we are to treat one another. Robbery is hated by him as it is a violation against what the person has worked to achieve or gain. In all work there is gain and to violate this principle takes away the dignity of work. Things gained through robbery have a curse on them and unless there is repentance and restitution the conscience will always remind the robber of the violation. Stolen items may at first bring some pleasure but as the proverbs declares it will turn into gravel in the mouth, something disgusting
